In 1989, John and his father James McMahon opened McMahon Transport. John not only drove a truck for 12 years, he also handled all of the dispatching, ordering, communications with distributors and station owners, and all daily operations. After much frustration answering two pagers and three cell phones, John knew he had to develop a management system that could not only save him time and money, but also help his company grow. John understands the industry inside and out. He also knows how much DFS can help a transport company, like it did for McMahon Transport. After a long week behind the wheel at work, John likes to unwind on the weekend by racing cars on the race track.

Executive Team
Alex brings years of experience building high performance teams and systems. His passion for technology coupled with his excellent customer service makes him an great asset to the DFS team!
DFS would not be where it is today without Rocco’s expertise. With decades of experience as a systems integrator, Rocco saw great opportunity at DFS with unlimited potential. He joined the team in 2010. Whether it was setting up routines on the back end or speeding up the dispatch page, he did it all. Rocco decreased the run time for the load generator to a quarter of the time it used to take. And on top of all that, he is the guy our customers go to when they need a customized report. When Rocco isn’t clicking away, you can most likely find him playing the bass in his classic rock band or in his wood shop!
After four years of working at a technology company specializing in health insurance, Sarah decided it was time for a change. She joined the DFS team in November of 2013, eager to bring our software to fuel haulers and distributors all over the country. DFS will definitely be utilizing her tenacious ability to identify an opportunity, along with her sales background and communication skills. A city girl at heart, Sarah resides in downtown Chicago. In her spare time, you’ll either find her in a spin class, at an indie movie or discovering a new restaurant in the city.
